Interference to Heaven
Yesterday, I picked up both my girls from school and headed to the grocery store. They both had received balloons from a walkathon, so Jacob was squealing his little lungs out over the excitement of them. All the way there they bounced in their seats flipping them around all over the backseat, hitting each other. Had I known they were going to be pumped full of sugar and have these balloons, I would have never attempted the store and went before hand. (I'll just let you imagine how that went)
Excited to get back to the balloons after shopping, Madisen flung open her door and out came her balloon. Trying to salvage the day at a moments notice, I immediately start consoling her. I've been down this teary road before I knew immediate action was crucial . Explaining to her, don't panic it's okay 'Damon' will love chasing it when it gets to Heaven, she quickly calmed down. That was until as we were driving away and she noticed it stuck in a tree, and then there was no convincing her out of a complete and total melt down. (It was no longer just about loosing a balloon but a friend also... He will always be remembered. )
Arguing with myself
Do you ever fight and argue with someone all day, without them even knowing? What I mean is its just all in your head. If you answered No, then you are thinking I need to be in a nut house because I am crazy. If you answered yes and laughed under your breath, then yeah your crazy too, ( just like me )! There's one thing about if your going to pick a fight with me you better be ready to dish it out, if your going to have any chance of winning. If not, the longer I stew about it the worse your going to get slammed in the end. You see, I will go over every single detail and scenario about it. It’s all day over and over arguing back and forth, all in silence. That way when it is time to finally hash it out I can be calm and collective, (well most of the time) and I will just let you have it. |
